Our Philosophy
At Wonderful World Preschool, we believe that every child deserves a strong start in life. We are a play based learning program committed to kindergarten readiness. Through play, we help develop social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
Our Curriculum
We provide a play-based learning environment that allows children to explore and learn at their own pace. Our programs includes early childhood literacy, math, science, art, music and movement. By providing enriched experiences, we can stimulate and nurture children's cognitive growth. Children can enhance their language, problem-solving and critical thinking skills through interactive activities, playful exploration and guided instruction.
Our Teachers
Our teachers are certified ECE's and First Aid certified. We are educated professionals who have several years experience in the childcare industry and are dedicated to providing the best possible education for your child. We create a warm and welcoming environment where children feel safe and loved.
Our Facilities
Our classroom is spacious, bright and welcoming. We have a large indoor play area that we use daily and comes in hand when our temperatures vary during the winter months. Behind our building we have a beautiful outdoor green space and picnic area. Here we explore, play games and occasionally have our snack time. We are welcome to use the industrial kitchen on site to bake cookies, make slime and experiment with a variety of materials.
Classes
Wonderful World Preschool is open to children ages 3 to 5 years old.
We offer three programs, all of which are three hours in length.
Our M/W/F AM ( 8:30am-11:30am) and PM (12:00pm-3:00pm) classes are geared towards kindergarten readiness. There are 20 spots available in each of these classes. The cost of this class is $150/per month (This price reflects the new Affordability Grant provided by the government)
Our T/TH AM (8:30am-11:30pm) class is our early introduction class. This class is designed for our younger students that are just beginning their educational journey. There are 12 spots available in this class. The cost of this class is $115/per month. (This price reflects the new Affordability Grand provided by the government)
Children are NOT required to be toilet trained.
Parent Resources
We believe that parents are important partners in their child's education. We provide resources and support to help parents stay involved and informed about their child's progress.
